European Superconductivity News Forum

Jülich, Germany, 20 July 2007:   The IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC) and the European Society for Applied Superconductivity (ESAS) are developing a new joint project: the “European Superconductivity News Forum” at www.ewh.ieee.org/tc/csc/europe/newsforum .  This quarterly online publication aims at filling the gap between peer-reviewed scientific publications and the latest news disseminated by "Superconductor Week".  The first issue appeared by mid-July 2007, the next issue is scheduled for October.  In-depth contributions subject to editorial review appear as “Critical Reviews”, “Regional News” and “Science & Tech News”.

"Superconductor Week
has a three-fold mission:
to advance the goals of our readers by a critical perspective on low- and high- Tc superconductors and cryogenics; to promote the industry by spreading information and insight to the broadest possible audience; and to provide
a platform for the free exchange of ideas and news within the superconductivity community."
